Abigal Sailors could no longer afford to attend Trinity Bible College. She began waiting tables at Cracker Barrel and trusting God for her future. Can you imagine her surprise to find a $50.00 bill and two checks for a total of $6,000.00 on her table as a tip! Abigal is on her way back to Trinity Bible College and will graduate debt free. My young friend, Nathan, is raising funds to go full time as a Project Coordinator for Mission Discovery. Last week he returned from a mission trip to Jamaica and missed his connection in Atlanta for his return to Nashville. He was finally able to catch the late flight and was seated in the rear of the plane. He explained his long day to the attendant, and she reassigned him to an exit row, but he was in the middle seat. Upon takeoff, the person in the aisle seat decided to move, which left Nathan sitting by a young woman.
They began talking and sharing what they were involved in. The woman was the wife of Nathan's favorite worship band's lead vocalist! Nathan shared his journey and asked her if she would like to be added to his email list and pray about supporting him. She said, "I don't need to pray about it." Upon their arrival in Nashville, she shook his hand and placed some cash in his hand. He cordially thanked her not knowing he was holding $1,000.00!
The story of Abraham and Isaac in Genesis 22 occurred thousands of years ago. Abraham and Isaac are walking up one side of the mountain. Abraham had made a decision to "trust and obey". Isaac is filled with questions like, "Where is the lamb?" Neither one of them knew a lamb was coming up the other side of the mountain. At the very precise moment of Abraham holding a knife in the air to sacrifice his son, an angel stops him and points to the lamb, which has arrived at the "pinnacle of his need"-not too early and not too late!
"And I have led you forty years in the wilderness. Your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandals have not worn out on your feet." Deuteronomy 29:5
"My God will supply all of your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19

How to Live Sent
According to Dr. Amy Sherman, there are at least 4 ways to Live Sent:
1. Bloom where you are planted.
Care to help build the Kingdom right where God has you assigned in the marketplace?
2. Start something new.
Do you have a passion for addressing an unmet community need? Consider forming either a for profit or nonprofit company and start something new.
3. Give your skills (vocational) away to a community ministry.
Is there a community ministry that could benefit from your vocational skills and talents?
4. A Church Big Vision for the City.
Does your church have a Big Vision for the City? Do you have one and want to encourage your church to consider helping you to develop it?
